Ingredients

  • 12 large fresh strawberries stems intact
  • 6 oz white candy melts or white chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons blue sanding sugar

Instructions

  • Wash and Dry Strawberries: Rinse the strawberries under cold water and gently pat them completely dry with paper towels.
  • Melt the Chocolate: Place the white candy melts or white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
  • Dip the Strawberries: Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip two-thirds of it into the melted white chocolate. Let the excess drip off.
  • Add Blue Sugar: Immediately dip the bottom third of each chocolate-covered strawberry into the blue sanding sugar to form the red, white, and blue layers.
  • Let Set: Place the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined tray and allow them to set at room temperature until the chocolate hardens (about 30 minutes).

Notes

  • Make sure the strawberries are completely dry before dipping. Moisture will prevent the chocolate from sticking properly.
  • You can use colored sprinkles or edible glitter for extra sparkle if desired.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, but serve fresh for best texture.
