Ingredients

  • 1 cup red candy melts
  • 1 cup white candy melts
  • 1 cup blue candy melts
  • Red white, and blue sprinkles
  • Red white, and blue M&Ms or similar candy-coated chocolates
  • Wax or parchment paper
  • Toothpick or skewer for swirling

Instructions

  • Prepare the surface: Line a baking sheet with wax or parchment paper.
  • Melt the candy melts: In separate microwave-safe bowls, melt the red, white, and blue candy melts according to the package instructions, stirring until smooth.
  • Spread the white chocolate: Pour the melted white candy melts onto the prepared baking sheet and spread them into a rectangular shape using a spatula.
  • Add red and blue swirls: Spoon the melted red and blue candy melts over the white chocolate in a random pattern.
  • Create the swirl effect: Use a toothpick or skewer to gently swirl the red and blue candy melts into the white chocolate, creating a marbled effect.
  • Add toppings: While the chocolate is still soft, sprinkle the red, white, and blue sprinkles and M&Ms evenly over the surface.
  • Set the bark: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has fully set.
  • Break into pieces: Once set, remove from the refrigerator and break the bark into irregular pieces.
  • Serve and enjoy: Arrange the bark pieces on a serving platter and enjoy your festive treat!

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, you can add a teaspoon of coconut oil to each color of candy melts before melting.
  • Feel free to customize the toppings with other red, white, and blue candies or edible glitter for extra sparkle.
  • Store the candy bark in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
