- 1 cup water for simple syrup
- 1 ½ cups fresh lemon juice about 6–8 lemons
- 3 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and fresh mint for garnish optional
Make the Simple Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and the sugar. Heat over medium, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool.
Juice the Lemons: While the syrup cools, juice the lemons until you have 1 ½ cups of fresh lemon juice.
Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher, mix the cooled simple syrup, fresh lemon juice, and 3 cups of cold water. Stir well.
