- 1 lb 450 g boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 –2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley optional, for garnish
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional, for a spicy kick
Prepare the chicken: Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Cook the chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken in a single layer and cook for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
Make the garlic butter sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and let it melt. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Combine and serve: Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes to heat through. Garnish with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
